OVERVIEW

Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology represents a revolutionary approach to water purification, especially in Minimum or Zero Liquid Discharge projects, harnessing the natural process of osmosis in reverse to effectively remove contaminants and impurities from water/wastewater. RO technology purifies water by applying hydraulic pressure in excess to the osmotic pressure of brine to a semi-permeable membrane, allowing water molecules to pass through while trapping contaminants, resulting in purified water on one side and concentrated brine on the other.
